The New Building
Our old building in Montague Road had proved too small for our growing congregation and so from 2004 to 2008 we held our Sunday services in Pelham School. We believe that God led us to the present building and made it possible to purchase and adapt it as modern church premises. We moved into the redeveloped building at 59 High Path, Merton in 2008 after months of re-development. Originally built as a commercial/industrial unit, it was purchased from DKP Finishing and adapted to meet our needs. The entrance foyer leads directly into the main worship area, which seats 250 people and is equipped with video projection facilities, modern lighting and sound. Separate rooms for children’s activities lead off the foyer on the left-hand side and there are offices and another meeting room upstairs. Some of these areas are still in process of redevelopment. |
